Data controller
Jacob Vilarrubias, publisher of this family heritage website. For questions about personal data, use the contact form.
Data collected and purpose
The contact form collects your name, email address, subject and message. These fields are required to receive and respond to your enquiry; without them your request cannot be handled. No marketing or newsletter subscriptions are offered.
Legal basis
Processing relies on the publisher’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries initiated by website visitors.
Recipients and providers
Messages reach the domain mailbox hosted by OVH, and a copy is sent to a private Gmail mailbox used by the family. OVH and Google provide message transport and storage. Depending on their services and safeguards, processing outside the European Economic Area may occur.
Retention
Messages and related exchanges are retained for no longer than twelve months after the last exchange, then deleted from the relevant inbox, archive and sent-mail folders at OVH and Gmail, unless a documented legitimate reason requires longer retention.
Abuse prevention and technical data
The form uses a honeypot and rate limiting based on a pseudonymised IP-address fingerprint and timestamps. The host may retain access logs. Temporary technical rate-limit files must be cleaned up periodically.
Cookies and analytics
The website has no advertising or publisher-installed visitor tracking. Hosting-related technical services are subject to OVH terms.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of processing, and object where applicable, via the contact form. You can also complain to the French data protection authority (CNIL): https://www.cnil.fr/
